Fisher win second Swimming Carnival in a row

A successful day at the pool saw Fisher House walk away with their second Swimming Carnival win in a row.

On Friday 26 February 2021 St Peter Claver College held its Annual Swimming Carnival at the Bundamba Swim Centre.

The hot day saw students eager to participate in events in order to cool off in the pool.

The Swim Through to kick things off and the Longest Link competition were firm favourites for the same reason, with the added bonus of earning extra House points.

Program Leader – Sport, Sarah Cassin said the success of the Carnival was a testament to everyone involved.

“Congratulations to all students who contributed to a successful 2021 Swimming Carnival. It has been a whole year since our last carnival due to COVID-19 so it was very exciting to see the students competing and showing their House spirit," she said.

The next Claver Interhouse Carnival will be Cross Country on Thursday 1 April 2021 – also the last day of Term 1.

2021 Interhouse Swimming Carnival results:

1st Place: Fisher with 1083 points.

2nd Place: Xavier with 951 points.

3rd Place: More with 693 points.

4th Place: Chisholm with 586 points.
