Former Claver Student Makes NRL Debut

Former Claver student Tau Tau Moga made his debut for the Sydney Roosters against the New Zealand Warriors last weekend. Tau played extremely well, scoring a try and saving one too.

This is a massive boost for the Claver Rugby League Program as Tau becomes the first Claver student to play NRL.

We hope that he can establish himself as a regular in the team.

2012 Results

Early rounds of the Broncos Challenge Competition have been impressive by Claver sides:

The year 8 team has shown glimpses of brilliance however have not been able to match it with Wavell Heights, Marsden and Palm Beach Currumbin.

The year 9 team have been far from the easy beats of the competition pushing Wavell Heights (Wavell 24 - SPCC 22), Marsden (Marsden 16 - SPCC 6) and Palm Beach Currumbin (PBC 20 - SPCC 12) to the end. A win for these boys will not be too far away.

The year 10 team is so far undefeated in the Walters 15B competition. They have had good wins over Mountain Creek SHS and Beenleigh SHS, and snuck home against Harristown.

Lastly, the College's 1st team is also undefeated in Gee Shield. They were comprehensive over Mountain Creek, Beenleigh, Nambour and a close one over Harristown.

  • SPCC 28 def Mt Creek 18
  • SPCC 46 def Beenleigh 10
  • SPCC 54 def Nambour 14
  • SPCC 34 def Harristown 28

Halfway through the season, the year 8's and 9's have a few crucial games to see where they finish in the top 8 South Queensland schools and the year 10's and 1st's look likely to progress to the next level (National Schoolboys Cup).
