On Wednesday 4 October 2023 we celebrated the giftedness and creativity of our Co-Curricular Arts students, along with the hard work of our Year 12 Vocational Education and Training (VET) students.
The special Awards Assembly was attended by parents/caregivers and families and saw more than 100 students recognised for their ongoing efforts and commitment to their studies and co-curricular passions.
Charmaine Chambers Curriculum Leader - The Arts said the College is so proud of these Co-Curricular Arts Award recipients.
“They have worked tirelessly, giving up much of their own time to contribute to Co-Curricular Arts and enrich Arts at Claver. These students are inspiring and wonderful role models for our Arts students." she said.
Karen Daly Curriculum Leader - Vocational Education & Training and Careers said there are many pathways to learning at Claver.
“Students in Years 10 to 12 study Certificate courses offered as part of the Senior Curriculum and many students also take the opportunity to gain nationally recognised qualifications through our partners at TAFE and other private training organisations, or in the workforce by completing a school-based apprenticeship or traineeship," she said.
“We congratulate all of our Year 12 VET Certificate recipients and know their new qualifications will serve them well."
