On Tuesday 18 April 2023 Claver held its annual Inter-House Cross Country Carnival and it did not disappoint.
An afternoon of House spirit and sportsmanship saw Fisher House take out the title of 2023 Inter-House Cross Country Carnival Champions.
Despite very warm conditions students ran, jogged and walked the track with great enthusiasm for their respective Houses.
Upon completion of the Cross Country course, students and Houses came together to participate in various ball games and a competitive tug-of-war on the oval.
Program Leader – Sport, Sarah Cassin congratulated all on a fantastic afternoon which was made even better by many students who came dressed in their House colours with eagerness and pride.
“Each and every student is to be commended for their excellent team spirit and the comradery they displayed during the afternoon. Well done to everyone," she said.
The next Claver Inter-House Carnival will be our Athletics Carnival in Term 2 on Friday 9 June 2023.
