Harmony Day

Harmony Week is an annual celebration of Australia's cultural diversity. In schools we celebrate inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all Australians, from the traditional custodians of the land to those who have come from many countries around the world.  In our community we are blessed with the richness of so many different cultures.  We recently celebrated Harmony Day, a day to come together and celebrate Australia's cultural diversity through food, dance and story.

Our Harmony Day Assembly was the highlight of the day with the whole College coming together as a community to embrace our diversity. Congratulations to our Student Leaders who organised and co-ordinated our Harmony Day Assembly.  The Assembly included a flag parade representing our many cultures, 'Our Father' prayed in several languages and cultural dances.  Following the assembly, our students enjoyed 'Food from the Continents' in Claver Court.
