On Friday 14 August 2026, St Peter Claver College held its annual Inter-House Athletics Carnival at the Bill Paterson Oval in Limestone Park.
After being rescheduled due to inclement weather in the lead-up to the original date, the sun shone brightly on a hot, blue-sky day as Chisholm House took home the trophy and title of ‘Champions’ at the 2026 Inter-House Athletics Carnival.
House spirit was in full force, with great commitment shown in this year’s House themes of blue sportswear, green superheros and supervillains, yellow Minions and red pyjamas.
The glorious winter’s day made for great competition conditions and a spectacular show of track and field prowess. So much so that eight records across multiple age groups and events were broken.
Along with the usual program of athletics events, there was the staff relay and the Race of Champions which saw Levi Schmidt and Emasina Toeleiu take out top honours in the male and female races respectively. House spirit was also on display and judged on war cry enthusiasm, cleanest House and best-dressed House.
Acting Program Leader – Co-curricular Sport, Jarrod Hollands, congratulated everyone who attended the Athletics Carnival.
"The Inter-House Athletics Carnival was a tremendous success, made possible by our dedicated staff and volunteers. With perfect weather and strong competition, Chisholm House proudly claimed the Championship Cup. Congratulations to everyone involved," he said.

- Second Place: Fisher on 1378 points.
- Third Place: Xavier on 1145 points.
- Fourth Place: More on 951 points.
