On Friday 20 February 2026 St Peter Claver College held its annual Inter-House Swimming Carnival at the Bundamba Swim Centre.
After the 2025 Carnival was cancelled due to bad weather, the hot and humid day saw students turn out in force to support their Houses and have some fun.
The Swim Through and the Captains’ Inflatable Race were firm favourites, with the added bonus of earning extra House points.
A successful day at the pool saw Xavier House ‘swim’ away as the 2026 Inter-House Swimming Carnival Champions.
Acting Program Leader – Co-curricular Sport, Jarrod Hollands congratulated everyone who participated in the Swimming Carnival.
“Events like today profoundly demonstrate the deep pride our students, staff and community have in their sporting Houses and our community sporting events. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated. Special congratulations to Xavier House for their impressive achievement as consecutive champions,” he said.
The next Claver Inter-House Carnival will be our Cross Country on Friday 27 March 2026.
